Meet Your New Alumni Board President

Brothers,

I would like to introduce myself to our DKE Alumni. My name is Scott Smith, and was a DKE at UNC from fall of 1976 until graduation in Spring of 1980. I reside in Chapel Hill, my hometown, with my wife Kelli, and work at the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School in many areas advancing the success of the school and our students.
I have been the UNC appointed Academic Advisor to DKE since spring 2011, and I have been an active DKE Alumni Board member, since 2011. I am now taking on the additional role of President, allowing Trey Adams ’06, the former President and longtime board member, to focus his attention and efforts on several house improvement projects that will take place this summer using funds received in the recently completed DKExcellence: The 4 Corners Campaign started fall of 2016.
I am very proud of the academic excellence we have achieved over the past several years, with the house GPA averaging 3.3 or better each semester. The active chapter members are a quality group of young men, and I hope that you will make every effort to return to Chapel Hill for a class reunion, or attend the annual DKE Alumni Reunion each fall to meet some of these great young men.

Most Sincerely,

Scott Smith ‘80
DKE UNC Alumni Board President
