Thankful for Beta Brotherhood
We want to wish all of our current Beta Chapter undergraduates as well as all of our alumni Happy Holidays. With Thanksgiving over, the holiday season is officially upon us. It is always a time of reflection, celebration, memories and most importantly; gratitude. Whether you will be traveling to visit with family, meeting up with some alumni Brothers for a drink or if you are a student staying close to campus to catch up on work over the holidays, we hope that you enjoy your time and get a chance to relax.

13th Annual Si Sitterson Golf Tournament
Delta Kappa Epsilon, Beta Chapter
Dear Parents, Alumni, and Friends of DKE,
We invite you to attend the thirteenth annual Si Sitterson Memorial Golf Tournament on Friday, November 2nd at the Chapel Ridge Golf Club in Chapel Hill. The Dekes host this event each year to honor Si, a brother, a leader, and a man of integrity. Through the generous support of parents, alumni, and friends, this event is our largest and most important fundraiser.

Of our 1,100 active alumni members, we have just 849 email addresses. That means 23% our alumni aren’t receiving our emails—and therefore are left completely out of the loop.

Meg Miller Attends the Wedding of Brother Hatcher Kincheloe ’08 and Ann Vaughn
This photo was taken on May 19, 2018 at the wedding of Brother Hatcher Kincheloe ’08 and his now wife, Ann Vaughn in Tarboro. All DKE’s in attendance were thrilled to see that Meg Miller made it to the event. Luckily someone captured the moment.
Meg currently serves as the cook and property manager for the Beta Chapter. Meg has been the heartbeat of the Beta Chapter of DKE for the last 21 years and is the mother and protector of the greatest fraternity in the State of North Carolina. It is easy to see the tangible difference she has made on Beta DKE over the years by simply stopping by 132 S. Columbia.

There are few more exciting events that call alumni back to Chapel Hill than Homecoming/Alumni Weekend. This year’s Homecoming/Alumni weekend will take place November 2-3. There will be a tailgate at the Chapter House and we expect to see you there!
Don’t miss out on all of the other standard homecoming festivities like the Friday gold tournament! The Tar Heels will be taking on Georgia Tech on 11/3 of Homecoming/Alumni Weekend at Kenan Memorial Stadium.
