Brothers:
We know how connected you are to Beta DKE. Being Delta Kappa Epsilon men during our UNC years changed our lives—it made us who we are today, it gave us a home away from home, it established our most loyal, lifelong friendships, and it developed the leadership potential that shaped our lives and careers. It continues to do this today for new generations.
We often hear from our Alumni Brothers that they’re looking for more ways to engage and connect with the Chapter, beyond just contributing to the Annual Fund. That’s why we’re excited to announce the launch of Ask a Beta DKE Brother, a simple yet powerful platform that makes it easy to ask for and give help within the Brotherhood.
And the best part? You don’t even have to leave home to participate.
Ask a Beta DKE Brother: An Online Mentoring Platform
We recognize how valuable your professional and personal experiences are. Your wisdom can help Active Brothers and new Alumni carve their own successful path.
Ask a Beta DKE Brother is an online platform that pairs Active Brothers or Alums who have questions with experienced Beta DKE Alumni mentors in order to help them along in their journey. This new tool was developed by Protopia, a leading provider of AI-powered, virtual community engagement platforms. (Plus our very own Brother Chris Rice ‘94 serves as Protopia’s Director of Partnerships!)
How Can You Get Involved?
We want you to receive the most relevant questions for your experience. In order to make sure we have up-to-date information about you, just fill out our quick and easy Alumni Brother Data Form. Or, if it’s more convenient for you, just send a quick email to [email protected] with your LinkedIn profile URL.
Then just wait for a question to arrive in your email inbox! Keep an eye out for future emails from [email protected], and add us to your contact list so you don’t miss any questions.
Or, to ask a question yourself, visit the Ask a Beta DKE Brother page to fill out a quick question form!
What’s the Time Commitment?
We know your time is precious. Ask a Beta DKE Brother’s software makes a precision match quickly, and then the question can be answered in a single email, in a Zoom call, or even in a face-to-face meetup. As a mentor, you can even adjust the frequency with which you receive questions to suit your personal preference. Plus, if you receive a question you don’t have the time to answer at the moment, you can always pass and answer the next one.
President of the Beta DKE Alumni Board, Scott E. Smith (UNC DKE ‘80), says, “I recently learned of this new connection platform that provides Beta DKE active members and recent graduates with a way to submit questions to your fellow DKE alumni base. This can be a helpful tool in many ways to you, and should be utilized where appropriate and when applicable.”
We hope that this new tool for connection will provide you with an easy and engaging way to give back to the Brotherhood that gave us all so much as undergrads. Fill out the Data Form or shoot us an email today to get started!
Sincerely,
The DKE UNC Alumni Board
P.S. Your data is always secure and will not be seen by anyone other than Beta DKE and our alumni communications partners. We will never sell or redistribute your contact information.
