This will be the Tar Heels’ fifth appearance in the Sun Bowl. They are 2-2 all time. Despite playing in 32 bowl games over the years, this will be just the third time UNC will take on a PAC-10/PAC-12 school. The Heels lost to Arizona State in the 1970 Peach Bowl and fell to Arizona in the 1986 Aloha Bowl.
If you don’t have tickets to the game, try to connect with your brothers and have a watch party! Cheer on the Heels as they shoot for the 15th bowl win in program history.
